On October 27, Shafak joins us live on stage at Theatre Royal Brighton to discuss the themes of her new novel and the power of literature in a broken world.

Elif Shafak: In One Brief Moment All Eternity

Drawing on her brand new novel, In One Brief Moment All Eternity, Shafak will seek to answer a question that has been a throughline in all of her work to date. What does literature mean in a time of chaos and crisis? When the world feels fragmented, polarised, and in the face of war, violence and great suffering, what can writers offer society?
