El Domingo 27 de Septiembre la Maratón es de otro tipo!

En este maratón volvemos a las raíces con una cámara analógica desechable y bajo un color asignado al azar (los tres primarios y los tres secundarios). No hay pantallas, no hay filtros digitales y no se puede borrar nada. Tu mayor superpoder será tu instinto.

En bici, en coche, moto, patinete, escoge lo que quieras para movilizarte por toda Valencia e ir cumpliendo con las 20 temáticas que plantearemos en esta maratón de fotografía.

Cómo será la Maratón?

Cronograma.

De 09h a 10h entrega de cámaras e instrucciones en Café BRÜ! Dr Sumsi 31. Respeta el horario que se te dará para tu turno por favor (lo recibirás por whatsapp), así mantenemos el orden.

10:30h. La salida, pitado inicial, será desde LOOM VLC y a través de whatsapp se entregará los primeros 5 temas. Cada 2 horas se enviarán los siguientes 5 temas hasta completar los 20.

* 20h entrega de cámaras en LOOM y cervecita fría.

Y después qué?

Habrá 5 fotos por color escogidas por 3 jurad*s.

L*s ganador*s expondrán sus fotos en LOOM VLC en una exhibición con motivo de la I Fotomaratón y sus fotos tendrán posibilidad de venta durante los meses de OCT hasta DIC (Dos tonos expuestos por mes). Adicional a esto, se hará mención especial de su trabajo/perfil profesional en todas nuestras redes sociales y notas del evento.

On Sunday, September 27th, the Marathon is a different kind of race!

This time, we're going back to the roots of photography: a disposable analog camera and a randomly assigned color (the three primary colors and the three secondary colors). No screens, no digital filters, and no deleting shots. Your greatest superpower will be your instinct.

Whether you choose to get around by bike, car, motorcycle, or scooter, it's up to you. Explore the streets of Valencia while completing the 20 photography challenges we'll reveal throughout the day.

What will the Photo Marathon be like?

09:00 10:00 Camera pick-up and briefing at BRÜ Café (Dr. Sumsi 31).

Please respect the time slot assigned to you (you'll receive it via WhatsApp) so we can keep everything running smoothly.

10:30 The official start takes place at LOOM VLC. The first 5 photography themes will be sent via WhatsApp.

Every two hours, you'll receive 5 new themes until all 20 have been revealed.

What happens afterwards?

A panel of three judges will select five photographs from each assigned color category.

The winners will exhibit their work at LOOM VLC as part of the 1st Valencia Photo Marathon Exhibition. Their photographs will also be available for sale from October through December (two color categories exhibited each month).

In addition, the winners and their professional profiles will receive special promotion across all our social media channels and event communications.

Grand Prize Best Photograph

The photographer behind the Best Photo of the Marathon will receive:

Exhibition Space A free opportunity to host an exhibition, workshop, talk, or masterclass at LOOM.

VIP Experience An invitation for two people to any concert or event at LOOM VLC on the date of your choice, including drinks and snacks.

LOOM Pass Free entry to all LOOM events throughout October.
