No matter where you travel, no matter what country you visit, you will never see a north as paradisiacal as Fuerteventura and that is thanks to the Great Beaches of Corralejo.
These Fuerteventura beaches are located in the municipality of La Oliva in the north of the island. With a total of 3.5 kilometers long and 60 meters wide, this large set of beaches is divided between Los Matos beach, Larga beach, El Viejo beach, El Pozo beach and El Caserón beach. Moreover, Playa Larga, El Viejo and El Caserón are beaches where nudism is allowed.
Of the Great Beaches of Corralejo, only some of them belong to the Natural Park of the Dunes of Corralejo. Locals from Fuerteventura also call them the hotel beaches because they are located just below the RIU Hotels in the area, this being an exclusive construction within the Natural Park.
As soon as you see the crystal clear water with greenish tones, you will enter a state of relaxation that will be difficult for you to get out of. The waves have a soft swing and make your rest deeper and more enjoyable. The Grandes Playas de Corralejo are great for spending a pleasant day with the family, where children can enjoy the water and play in the sand.
In certain areas, you will see sea lovers surfing its waves with their boards and sails if they practice windsurfing or kitesurfing. On these beaches there is plenty of space for everyone, their occupation is low and they have a rescue service.
There are several access points to the Grandes Playas de Corralejo where you can access by vehicle or public transport. If you travel by bus, line 06 follows the route that goes from Puerto del Rosario to Corralejo. In addition, the bus runs every half hour in both directions.
