Set in the library of a grammar school, Punk Rock follows a group of sixth-form students preparing for their mock exams. As revision sessions give way to conversations about friendships, relationships, expectations and fears for the future, cracks begin to appear beneath the surface. The result is a powerful and unflinching exploration of adolescence, anxiety and the pressures that can shape young lives.

At Create Drama, we believe theatre is a place where anything is possible. Our youth theatre provides a creative and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, develop performance skills and express themselves through drama. We encourage our members to challenge themselves, work collaboratively and engage with exciting, thought-provoking material that reflects the world around them.

Punk Rock has given our young company the opportunity to tackle a complex and contemporary play with honesty, maturity and courage. We are immensely proud of the commitment, creativity and sensitivity shown throughout the rehearsal process and are delighted to share their work with you.

This amateur production of Punk Rock is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
