Barcelona Improv Group (BIG) is the city’s leading English-language improv comedy and theatre company, delighting audiences with shows, classes, and training for nearly 15 years. Our dynamic house cast—featuring Ella Galt, Kiva Murphy, Leanne Shellshear, Kevin Cahill, Martin Robinson, and John Lane—has been performing and evolving together for almost 4 years (and some of us for over 10 years!), creating and staging a variety of original, unscripted shows that captivate the Barcelona crowd. Beyond the local stage, BIG has made its mark on the international scene, performing at festivals in Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, Sweden, Germany, Italy, and beyond. Driven by the thrill of discovery, our performances blend emotional depth with an infectious sense of play.
